A group effort apron! 0
We are lucky here at Handes of a Woman to have so much in-house talent! Out for delivery today, is this custom/special order based on designer Erin Murphy's apron pocket placement with artist Ethan Coker's chickadees on the bib and pockets. The neck strap is new for us, adjustable with no hardware or velcro. There is a casing on each side of the bib that provides enough drag to keep the strap where you want it. And the black contrast here provides interest.
Custom orders are some of our favorites!
The Red Apron by Erin Murphy (Evie N Tually) 0
We love custom orders at Handes of a Woman; you might say they are one of our favorites. Here our cat's cradle has been made into something really special by designer and artist Erin Murphy. Check it out!
We hope to bring this design to market in 2020 in twill for workers and in linen as a shabby sheik fashion item. We will do as custom order till then.
Aprons and bar mops 0
Remember those aprons in development? Erin has in mind many places to stash a towel: waist band, pocket, bib loop. Our first bar mop/napkin has just been posted as best use of fabric and with our aprons in mind. Tuck one in a pocket, waistband or loop at the waist or on the bib. Keep one handy; fold in quarters and you can grab that hot pot handle right quick. At $4 each they are our best value on linen, and getting 4 gets you to Free Shipping.

Call it 'girl in apron' by Erin Murphy (Evie N Tually on facebook) 0
In the world of work aprons, function is everything. But in addition to providing me with a design and artwork, I am beginning to see a runway presentation, pretty dresses, army boots, apron pinafore from a cat's cradle corseted apron.
On the front are places for towels; on the runway, scarves and trinkets. See the sheath silhouette in the front view. Erin has always had her own sense of style, now she is taking it to a whole new level.
Well done, Erin! Now lets see if we can get it made!
Picking out an apron fabric: our customer service 0
Here is a video showing the customer service you can expect on special orders.
I am talking here, to my step-daughter, Erin, who wants some aprons in our cat's cradle design, but not in our heavy denim. We take a look always at our in-stock inventory before going to the store to get something new. As we work through this order to get it right, it will likely result in a new fabric offering on our custom aprons! The cat's cradle apron is fully adjustable, goes on over the head and has no neck straps to cause pressure there.
To place the order, Erin contacted us on the website contact page and opened a dialogue. It's that easy!
