Refund policy

Returns

No returns or exchanges on custom orders or final sales items.
Our policy lasts 30 days for all returns or exchanges. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase tracked as delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return , your item must be returned unused and in good condition.  It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds apply only to the paying customer of record. Shipping costs are not refunded.
Once your return is received within 30 days of your tracked delivery, and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
 
Check with your credit card company or bank, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at caschmid@centurytel.net.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Original artworks cannot be exchanged. No exchanges on custom orders.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and if we have the item or fabric still in stock. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at caschmid@centurytel.net and send your item to: 574 Rayburn Rd Brantley Alabama US 36009.

Gifts - USA only

If an item was purchased by someone and sent directly from our shop to you as a gift, and you (the gift recipient) wish to return it,  it will be processed as any other return with the exception that a store credit (not a refund) will be issued to you, the gift recipient, in the form of a mailed coupon once the item is returned and meets return criteria noted above. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.

Shipping

To return your products,  you should ship your products to: Handes of a Woman attn:Catherine Murphy,  574 Rayburn Rd, Brantley, Alabama US 36009 as follows:

  • on orders up to $35 use a tracked carrier, insurance and delivery confirmation. We generally use standard USPS with insurance, tracking, delivery confirmation to ship these ourselves. 
  • on orders from $35.01-$100 use tracked carrier with insurance and signature confirmation.
  • on textiles orders over $100 use tracked carrier with insurance and signature confirmation
  • original fine artworks over $100 by Wilma Ingalls  MUST come back to us by and professionally packed by the same carrier that brought them to you, with insurance, tracking and signature confirmation

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

If your item meets return criteria, and is approved, refunds will be partial if your item was shipped as free shipping; shipping costs are non-refundable.

The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary, depending on where you live and whether I have to make another item. USPS usually gets an item across country in about 3-4 days from the time it leaves the post office.
