Tip for getting tailor's chalk out of your project
  • try using a soap sliver for tailor's marks on darker fabrics
  • these come out easily with an iron over a pressing cloth (see video)
  • or by holding a steam iron iron above the mark without actually touching it (faster for batches)
  • video shows that iron and a pressing cloth works for waxy tailor's chalk, also
