Splatter on linen
What should we make with this?
Last week at the sale, left over paint from towels was used to make this splatter on linen. It was intended for making towels. The thin acrylic makes a good stain that maintains the softness of the fabric and holds up well in the wash. It hung as a sun shade in the booth and generated a good bit of feedback. Whimsical and light, there are suggestions of little creatures in the clouds of color. Above is a detail, right out of the dryer.
Any other ideas on how to use it? Towels, napkins, small tablecloth, auction off as one piece, blouse?
Let us know what you think before the scissors come out!
